Strong December sales top off exceptionally successful debut for The Motorhome Exchange.

As 2013 draws to a close, the Motorhome Exchange continues to register some of the most eye-popping monthly sales figures in the pre-owned luxury motorhome field.

During the first two weeks of December, Motorhome Exchange operator Dave Wall closed sales on a pair of 2002 Prevost-based custom motorcoaches, including a single-slide Liberty Lady Classic and an American Prevost double-slide model with just 89,000 miles.

That brought units sold for the 4th quarter to 11 and total sales since the dealership opened in August to some 14 units. Both numbers are above the company’s initial projections, according to Wall.

The Motorhome Exchange“We’re literally selling them as fast as we can get them in,” he says. He attributes the Motorhome Exchange’s success to date to unique buyer-friendly benefits like the convenient location and expert service they share with parent company Liberty Coach.

“Our goal is to offer a level of service as elite as the vehicles we handle,” he continues. “With Liberty’s backing, prospective buyers know that every coach in our inventory is thoroughly inspected, detailed to the highest standards, and priced fairly.”

The benefits are equally clear to sellers, he points out. “Unlike brokers, we have the ability to pay cash in full for coaches. And all of our inventory is kept plugged in and available for viewing upon request – something that is extremely rare in the pre-owned marketplace.”

Those are huge advantages in what is becoming a fiercely competitive market for pre-owned coach conversions and late model Class A motorhomes. Wall notes that nearly all of the units in his current inventory are tagged as “Just Listed,” meaning they’ve come on line within the last 30 days.

“Our biggest problem at this point is making sure we have enough coaches to sell,” he finishes. “So if you have a pre-owned Prevost motorcoach, bus conversion or late-model Class A motorhome for sale, please call the Motorhome Exchange first.
