OUR COMPANY

Liberty Coach is the premier manufacturer of Prevost motorcoach conversions, the finest recreational vehicles in the world. Founded as a backyard business over 50 years ago, Liberty remains a labor of love today – a family owned and operated company doing what they love to do, and doing it better than anyone else.

MEET THE FAMILY

Brothers Frank and Kurt Konigseder were just 6 and 4 years old when their parents put the finishing touches on Liberty Coach #1 in 1971. Today, they are the company’s managing partners and standard bearers of a family legacy that spans three generations and represents the “gold standard” in Prevost conversions – past, present and future.

Frank and Jeanne Konigseder

Founding Partners

While they’re no longer involved in day-to-day operations, the couple who founded Liberty Coach as a backyard business remain active in the company they built into the biggest and best in the field. Frank Sr. maintains an office at the Stuart dealership as regular advisor to Frank Jr. and the team, while Jeanne continues to help out with rally registration and planning. They split time between homes in Libertyville and Stuart, and still spend a good portion of the year on the road enjoying the coaching lifestyle they helped create. Wouldn’t you?

Frank Konigseder, Jr.

Vice President

Don’t let the “Jr.” mislead you. The fact is, no one has had a greater impact on the evolution of the motorcoach field than Frank. On the technical side, he earned his mechanical engineering degree from Montana State University in 1984 and has been directly responsible for many of the most important developments in coach design ever since. And on the marketing end, Frank has headed up company sales since the mid-1990s and opened Liberty Coach of Florida in 2001. Today he shares responsibility for day-to-day operations with brother Kurt, and remains as passionate about the family business as ever.

Kurt Konigseder

Vice President

While his brother Frank functions as the public face of Liberty Coach, Kurt is the critical “man behind the scenes” responsible for all aspects of coach manufacturing and production. It is a role for which he is uniquely qualified; with a business degree from Montana State University, Kurt has overseen the production of over 600 coaches from start to finish. Along the way, he has developed an unsurpassed working knowledge of the space behind the walls of the coach – an asset that has proven indispensable to Liberty Coach’s continued technical leadership in motorcoach design.

Kim Konigseder

Interior Designer

With over 30 years and 600 coaches behind her, Kim is the most prolific interior designer of Prevost conversion coaches ever. That said, she still treats every new coach as a one-of-a-kind opportunity to create something totally original. And her continuing success in doing so she attributes to what she describes as “the best clients in the world.” “I’ve had a hand in bringing a lot of cutting edge design trends to the marketplace,” she says, “but it is the chance to make each client’s dream come true that makes it all worthwhile.”

Denise Konigseder

Rally and Events Coordinator

Denise is Liberty’s point person on all efforts to maintain and enhance customer relationships, from rallies and road events to merchandise development and marketing. She began in 2015 working with Jeanne on the Liberty Coach Rally & Open House and has since assumed primary responsibility for event planning and scheduling, catering and entertainment management, and retail operations in our Stuart showroom.

Alex Konigseder

Crestron Programmer & Service Tech

Alex was the first of the Konigseders’ third generation to join the team and today serves as one of the company’s mainstays in technical service. He started working in the North Chicago plant while still in high school and by 2017 was personally handling service calls, travelling to customer locations when necessary. Like father Frank Jr., Alex has a natural affinity for electronics and computer technology, which he has parlayed into his role as Liberty’s “go-to guy” for issues involving Crestron programming, networking, audio-visual components, and onboard electrical systems.

Nick Konigseder

Purchasing & Production

Kurt and Kim’s elder son Nick worked part-time at Liberty through high school and college before coming onboard full-time in 2019 after graduating from the University of Indiana with a degree in Informatics and Computer Science. Today he wears several hats, including purchasing (laminates, leathers, solid surfaces and other interior materials), coach production (engraving and labeling), and shipping and receiving. Beyond that, Nick looks forward to becoming more involved on the technical side of coach design while continuing to build his knowledge base of the business as a whole.

Riley Konigseder

Production

Like brother Nick, Riley started working in the North Chicago shop while in high school, gaining experience in every department and learning the business from the ground up. He joined the team full-time upon finishing college in 2022 (B.S. in Finance, University of Iowa), starting in Liberty’s in-house cabinetry shop where he’s honing his craftsmanship skills and building his understanding of all the processes involved from start-to-finish in producing the world’s finest motorhomes.

MEET TEAM LIBERTY

Liberty Coach may begin with the Konigseder family, but it certainly doesn’t end there. Team Liberty today comprises over 100 of the most capable people in the RV business – sales professionals, service technicians, skilled craftspeople and many others – united by their passion for luxury motorcoaches and being part of the company that builds the best ones on the planet.

Greg Waid

RV Lifestyle Specialist

Greg joined Team Liberty in late 2018 and truly loves what he does. Prior to his arrival in Stuart, Greg spent 15 successful years selling Class A RVs and Prevost conversions, so he knows – and loves – the territory. He also loves “giving back” to his community by working to feed the hungry and other charitable efforts. Bottom line: nobody understands the meaning of “service” better than Greg Waid – and no one appreciates it more than Liberty Coach.

Ron Fauconniere

RV Lifestyle Specialist

Whoever said you can’t mix business with pleasure never met Ron Fauconniere. The Georgia native has been an enthusiastic RV user for over 20 years and a successful sales professional since Greg Waid recruited him to sell high-end Class A motorhomes back in 2006. He followed Greg to Liberty in 2019, calling the chance to join Team Liberty “the opportunity of a lifetime,” and regards his job as truly a labor of love.

Bill Doherty

Service Manager – North Chicago, Illinois

Bill has been a fixture at Liberty Coach since 1982 or, as Frank points out, “longer than any other coach conversion company has even been in business.” He boasts a working knowledge of Prevost shells and conversion components that is second to none in the industry, and has played a key role in developing and perfecting many of Liberty Coach’s exclusive design components, from cooling systems to the generator auto start. All of which makes Bill Doherty one of Liberty Coach’s most valuable assets, to customers and company alike.

Vince Shaw

Service Manager – Stuart, Florida

Vince is another veteran Liberty service professional who had well over a decade of experience with the Stuart service team before assuming the top spot in 2022. As Service Manager, he oversees all day-to-day operations at the facility, which handles coach service for both Liberty Coach and Motorhome Exchange and is among the busiest in the business. Vince is popular with customers and co-workers alike and is well-known for his upbeat demeanor and meticulous approach to a job he sees as the best in the industry.

Brady Therrien

Assistant Service Manager – Stuart Florida

A lifetime racing enthusiast and all-around automotive expert, Brady joined Liberty Coach in 2017 and was elevated to his current post in 2022. As Assistant Service Manager, he has a hand in virtually every aspect of the service department’s business, from handling repair orders and scheduling to managing the parts department and supervising the team’s 12 technicians. The job is challenging, but Brady truly enjoys the chance to work with what he knows are the world’s best motorhomes – and motorhome owners.

Nathan Moye

Field Service Manager – Stuart, Florida

Nathan was tapped to head Liberty’s field service operations in 2022 after working 7 years as a service technician in Stuart. As his title implies, Nathan is in charge of virtually all out-of-the-shop service operations, which means driving the Liberty Mobile Service Truck wherever it’s needed, from resorts to rallies and special events. When he’s not on the road, Nathan handles PDIs on pre-owned inventory and coach delivery walkthroughs, and absolutely loves working for a company that really believes in taking care of its customers.
